Born Louise Macdoanld, one the famous MacDonald sisters, she was aunt to Rudyard Kipling and sister in law of the painters Edward Burne Jones and Edward Poynter. This is a children's story in pictorial cloth binding. Col. frontis and 8 further colour plates by Chas. Pears [Charles Pears], all present.
